The Vigor2135 series is a Single WAN broadband security firewall router, which provides 1x Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, 4x Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and 2x USB ports for connecting either a 3G/4G/LTE modem (for use as a backup connection) or a printer. Featuring VPN, QoS, firewall, content filtering, bandwidth management and more, it is the ultimate router. The strong point is the acceleration of NAT sessions through hardware thus offering a high throughput over 900Mbps. The range includes models with Wi-Fi 802.11ac Wave 2 and VoIP.

The routers in the series have up to 2 VPN channels. They support LAN-to-LAN and Remote Teleworking VPN, with all known PPTP, L2TP, IPsec, GRE and SSL VPN protocols.
The 2135ac provides Wireless, with the supported protocols being 2.4GHz, 802.11n and 5GHz, 802.11ac. Achieves high speeds with the implementation of the modern 802.11ac Wave 2 protocol. Specifically, the 2.4G 802.11n 2x2 MIMO achieves a speed of 400Mbps and the 5G 802.11ac Wave 2 2x2 MU-MIMO achieves a speed of 867Mbps. Additionally the 2135Vac model offers VoIP support as it has 2 FXS. VoIP QoS is supported so that voice packets have maximum priority.
In addition, they have a Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) Firewall and flexible filtering rules. With Cyren's annual subscription to Web Content Filtering, websites are filtered by category and restrictions can be placed to ban entire website categories (such as social networking pages, gambling, etc.) without having to block every single site separately. A 30-day trial is available for free with every router.
Vigor2135 can act as a central management console for other Vigor devices on the network, including VigorAPs, and can manage up to 2 Access Points (VigorAPs).
