VigorSwitch P2121: the new 24-port Managed Gigabit PoE DrayTek Switch is now available!

LEXIS SA (www.lexis.gr), official distributor and provider of DrayTek in Greece and Cyprus announces the new 24-port Managed PoE Switch, VigorSwitch P2121, which is suitable for small and medium business network.

The new Layer 2 DrayTek switch provides 24 ports 10/100/1000 Mbps, 8 Gigabit PoE with power budget up to 140 watts and 4 x SFP/RJ-45 combo ports for high quality and reliable network.  

It also provides Voice VLAN and Surveillance VLAN to identify the traffic from an IP phone or an IP camera automatically, for high-quality calls and video, offering 24 Gbps switching speed and 17.85 Mpps packet forwarding speed making it ideal for small and medium businesses.

VigorSwitch P2121 offers security features to prevent the local network being overloaded by superfluous traffic, including Storm Control and DoS Attack Prevention. Also, it helps to avoid IP conflicts on the network by including features such as IP Source Guard, ACL and DHCP Snooping for an uninterruptible operation in secure network.

With respect to its protocol 802.3at/af, VigorSwitch P2121 allows voltage reduction in unused PoE ports or with small requirements.

DrayTek VigorSwitch P2121 can be managed through central management console, allowing the network administrator to monitor and remotely configure the connected devices.
