DrayTek VigorAP 918R: The new outdoor Mesh Access Point ideal is now available and specially designed for extreme conditions!

LEXIS SA, exclusive distributor of DrayTek products in Greece and Cyprus, presents the new 802.11ac Wave 2 Mesh outdoor  Access Point, VigorAP 918R, ideal for hotels and restaurants!

The IP67 certified enclosure provides VigorAP918R Series protection against water and dust, and the industrial-grade components give VigorAP 918R Series a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C.Also, it feautres a built-in radius server, two detachable Dual-Band two external antennas and supports up to 8 SSIDs (4 / radioband) with simultaneous connection up to 256 users.

It can be used in multiple functions such as AP, Mesh Root, Mesh Node and Range Extender, while it provides roaming technology with automatic connection from one access point to another, without any interruption. By supporting 802.11ac strandard and providing advvanced features, such as Airtime Fairness, Band Steering functions and the ability to set the bandwidth that will be used per user and limit the number of connected users per radio and SSID. The VigorAP 918R can be managed through the central management platform VigorACS 2.

DrayTek's VigorAP 918R is available through the LEXIS partner network while the VigorAP 918RPD is expected to be added soon, with a PoE-out port and an internal directional patched antenna for point-to-point connection.
