DrayTek’s first outdoor long-range Access Point series, VigorAP 920R, is compliant with 802.11ac Wave 2. Featuring IP67, it is suitable for installation to extreme weather conditions with high range of temperature levels (-40°C and 70°C) and resistant to humidity, rain and dust. VigorAP 920R models provide concurrent dual band for simultaneously connection of up to 256 clients with data rate of up to 867Mbps with 2x2 MIMO.
In response to the needs of energy saving, VigorAP 920R series is IEEE802.3az compliant to reduce its energy consumption when data activity is low. It can also be PoE-powered.
Due to the supported CWMP protocol, the AP’s can be managed and monitored through VigorACS 2 or DrayTek routers that support APs management for remote access such as customization, software upgrades and configuration back-up/restore.
In addition, the AP’s are able to automatically detect a 10/100/1000 Mbps transmission rate and distribute it with different bandwidth to different clients, providing them with a fast and reliable wireless connection.
VigorAP 920R is now available for immediate purchase through LEXIS’s experienced partners. VigorAP 920RPD/920RD/920RD including PoE Out connectivity and high gain antenna are expected to be available within 2018.
