Hillstone Networks StoneOS 5.5R9 with new standards for smart and automated security solutions!

Modern businesses need integrated, intelligent, and automated high-performance security solutions. The new version of StoneOS provides almost 300 new features and improvements that allow each business to adapt to the ever-changing threats as well as the continuous evolution of its infrastructure. Among its rich features, StoneOS 5.5R9 is the improvement of Machine Learning (ML) technology where StoneOS utilizes the latest threat databases in order to enhance the detection of DGA type attacks (Domain Generation Algorithm).

The new StoneOS release brings additional VPN features that support extended user scenarios, a configuration wizard that help improve the user experience, and a performance upgrade to address the increasing traffic from remote workforces ensuring the lowest TCO (total cost of ownership). In addition, by activating the hardware acceleration feature, it is offered to decrypt the network traffic and improve the performance of the SSL proxy.

StoneOS 5.5R9 meets ever-changing security requirements through automated application-based policy function management. In addition to RESTful APIs and SNMP, the new StoneOS supports configuration and management over NETCONF. Finally, the new version of StoneOS enables the support of HighAvailability (HA) service via IPv6 and upgrades system stability by redesigning the software architecture for data center firewalls.
