LEXIS: New laser PTZ thermal camera for dificult conditions!

LEXIS SA (www.lexis.gr), official distributor of KEDACOM in Greece since 2003, announces the new PTZ thermal camera IPC523-F255-NR with unique specifications and specially designed for effective surveillance of neuralgic sites, such as open areas, patrols and border protection. KEDACOM IPC523-F255-NR is an outdoor laser camera which features 55x optical zoom and effective image quality in long distances. Its image sensor is 2-Megapixel CMOS 1/2.8’’ Progressive Scan with frame rate 1080p@60fps, while its thermal sensor is Vanadium Oxide Uncooled Focal Plane Arrays which is available in 25mm and 50mm with resolution at 800x600@30fps for vehicles and people tracking in distances up to 7kilometers.

The new thermal camera is included in the Ultra Low Light category, featuring bold colors even in low illumination of 0.001lu. They support H.265 image compression technology to reduce bandwidth, multiple streams, 3D noise reduction technology, Digital Defog, Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR), and In/Out audio.

The zoom speed stands at 4’’ and the angle of view is designed to rotate horizontically at 360^ο and at a speed of 120° per second, with vertical motion reaching - 85° ~ 85°. The new thermal PTZ laser camera feature 8 Patrol patterns and they can accommodate up to 32 presets for various actions. Camera movement can be controlled either with the mouse or with Joystick control. The camera is compatible with the RS485 protocol for connecting Pan / Tilt / Zoom Joystick Pads.
