VIVOTEK MD9584-H: secure surveillance on the go!

LEXIS SA (www.lexis.gr), official representative of VIVOTEK in Greece and Cyprus since 2004, presents the new outdoor mobile dome IP camera MD9584-H, specially designed for vehicle and transport installation.

Designed specifically for mounting on a vehicle's exterior, the MD9584-H functions either as a side-view camera (also known as a back-mirror camera or DOO camera) or a pantograph monitoring camera if mounted on the roof of the vehicle. In both options, the camera provides the driver with clear view of critical areas for incident monitoring and operational awareness.

MD9584-H is available with a 3.6 mm or 6 mm fixed-focal lens and has the ability to move the lens vertically up to 30° and rotate by +/-90°. It has a built-in 5-megapixel full HD sensor with a resolution of 1920x1080 @ 60fps (2560x1920 @ 30fps) and IR illuminators with a range of 50 meters with Smart IR II support. It supports the H.265 compression standard, which in combination with Smart Stream III and 3DNR technologies help to save significant bandwidth. The camera housing is metal, IP6K9K/IP68, IK10+ and NEMA 4X compliant to work seamlessly in extreme temperatures (-40°C to 70°C), vibration, moisture, water and dust, ensuring stable and reliable recording during vehicle movement. In addition, it is certified according to the EN50155 2017 OT4 standard, while it has anti-vandal glass with an internal heater offering the best image in any conditions.

Camera features also include WDR Pro (120 dB) and Supreme Night Visibility (SNV) technology, SD card slot, digital input, digital output, built-in microphone for audio recording up to 5 meters away, power via Ethernet and ONVIF compatibility, while the camera is covered by a three-year warranty.

VIVOTEK MD9584-H camera comes with a free 3-year license for Trend Micro's anti-intrusion software to detect and automatically prevent any malicious network attacks and block suspicious events.
