DrayTek's Vigor2865 Security Firewall router series includes VDSL2 Super Vectoring / ADSL + models which are compatible with various ADSL and VDSL variants. The built-in modem offers DSL connectivity that makes it compatible with various versions of xDSL, including ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2 +, VDSL / VDSL2 (VDSL2 Profile: 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d, 12a, 12b, 17a) and Super Vectoring 35b.
In addition to the built-in modem, the series models include one Gigabit Ethernet WAN port which can be used for any type of connection by adding another connection for failover. Via the USB ports of the router, they can connect 3G / 4G / LTE USB stick and provide Internet connection in case the fixed lines are not available, acting as a backup.
In addition, they support 802.1q protocol for creating tag-based VLANs, as well as port-based VLANs. The maximum number of VLANs is 16 and up to 8 IP subnets for different IP addresses from each VLAN, while IP subnets 1 to 3 support up to 1022 IP addresses.
Vigor2865ax is one of the wireless models in Vigor2865 series. It includes 2 detachable antennas and supports the wireless protocols 802.11b / g / n / ax at 2.4GHz and 802.11a / n / ac / ax at 5GHz, reaching speeds of up to 600Mbps and 2400Mbps at the respective frequencies.
Vigor2865series can act as a control center console for other Vigor devices in the network, including VigorAPs and VigorSwitches.
