DrayTek's VigorAP 1062C model is a high-performance indoor dual-band Wi-Fi 6 access point with a throughput of 1.2Gbps at 2.4GHz and 4.8Gbps at 5GHz. Thanks to the 2.5GbE port and MU-MIMO technology, it supports up to 256 simultaneously connected users, making it the ideal choice for high-speed and high-density environments.
It has four internal PiFA DB antennas, supports mesh topology and can act as AP, Mesh Root, Mesh Node and Range Extender. In addition, it supports up to 16 SSIDs (8 per band) and Multi-SSID via mesh, while thanks to AirTime Fairness, Band Steering and Assisted Wi-Fi Roaming functions, it offers an improved Wi-Fi experience.
Once connecting to VigorAP 1062C, Intelligent Auto-Configuration feature can detect the type of AP, wired or wireless, and automatically determine the most appropriate network topology. For smaller wireless environments with fewer than 8 APs, it seamlessly enables Mesh mode; while in larger wired installation with more than 8 APs, then AP management mode will be activated for enhanced control and scalability.
The VigorAP 1062C can be mounted on a wall or ceiling, it is powered by DC and PoE+ (802.3af/at) and can be managed by Vigor routers and VigorACS, VigorConnect and Wireless app management software.
